Problems are only with MTP (seems that is subjective as not all have the same issues) and backup. For both you simply stop android-support and stop the mount/service for the sdcard...

well, zeroing the file length (true > /path/of/the/file), rebooting (dsmetool -b), deleting (with rm), and then rebooting again solved the problem: the balance finished in an hour... Thank you all...

ok, the command "true > ..." zeroed the length of my files. I don't know if it is enough: in fact with "ls -l" i can see a length of 0, but "du -s ." shows a length still very high

Your balancing does take ages as there is no space left to balance with so the more free space you have the less you need to balance and it is getting faster as it can move larger chunks at once

Delete some bigger files...(delete at least 2GB) balancing task usually survives reboots... might be that it does not even shutdown though :/ but you might delete some files and try to reboot
